ORIGIN OF MATERIALS
Our new SUM/20 range is made only from natural fibres from sustainable plantations that lend unrivalled softness to our items. Organic cotton is the only cotton we have used on SUM/20 and any garments that contain polyester only contain recycled polyester.
Our SUM/20 blank garments are made primarily in Asia (Bangladesh, China), and in Portugal for our linen items. All are certified by the biggest labels (GOTS, OCS Blended, Oeko-Tex). The factories all meet the most stringent safety criteria and are chosen based on their compliance with working conditions requirements in line with our commitment to the Fair Wear Foundation.
PRINTED IN NEWCASTLE
As with all of our collections, everything is printed and finished right here in our UK based factory, just outside of Newcastle. We do as much as we feasibly can in the UK and try to keep it local.
95% MADE IN BANGLADESH, 100% TRANSPARENT
We are convinced that manufacturing in Asia is a good thing if done properly. And properly means respecting the rights of the men and women that are employed to produce our garments. It means giving them the means to acquire new skills and to receive education and training.
In Dhaka, a 19-person team, all Bangladeshi, monitors 5 partner factories every day. All of which are GOTS-certified and audited by the Fair Wear Foundation.
