From the Alps to après - Meet Flügel!

From the Alps to après - Meet Flügel!

If you’ve been anywhere near a ski resort, après bar or questionable European night club over the last 20 years, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Flügel. The tiny red bottle with the yellow cap has built a cult following across Europe thanks to its weird little drinking ritual, chaotic party reputation, and dangerously easy-to-drink flavour.

Born from an idea scribbled on a beer mat by four mates on a ski trip in the Austrian Alps, Flügel went from après-ski novelty to full-blown European party icon.

It’s basically become a rite of passage in ski resorts, festivals and bars across Holland, Germany and Austria - and now it’s officially landed in après & Chalet '86

Despite looking harmless, Flügel has developed a proper cult status over the years, with fans referring to it as "the party starter” and the brand even using the slogan “Let The Duck Out.”

HOW TO DRINK A FLÜGEL

  1. Grab your ice-cold Flügel.
  2. Tap the bottle on the bar.
  3. Unscrew the yellow cap.
  4. Place the cap on the end of your nose.
  5. Neck the shot.
  6. Try not to lose the cap.
  7. Immediately tell everyone else they need one too.

£3 each. Four for £10
