Placing orders, Promo codes & Gift Cards

You can easily place an order following a few steps:
1. Search, choose and add to the shopping cart your favourite Longsands product
2. Select your shipping/click and collect and payment method to complete your order
3. You will receive a confirmation e-mail

After you have confirmed your order, you will receive an automatic generated e-mail confirmation from our Longsands online store.
First check your spam folder in your email. If you still have not received your confirmation e-mail, please contact us by email, phone or via our Facebook page and we will reissue another email to you.
Once your payment has been accepted you are unable to modify orders made online. However, If you contact us, we will try our best to make any amendments to your order.
Promo codes are personalized codes, issued on special occasions, that enables you to take advantage of exclusive promotions on services and products offered by Longsands. These codes can be found on our social media platforms and on our website. If you become a Longsands VIP you will also be emailed additional promo codes not found on our social media platforms.
The 'promo code' space is displayed in the first page of the shopping cart: enter your code and click "apply" to obtain your new total. If you are using your Apple Pay on your phone or tablet; to make a quick purchase you can add your code within the 'More Payment Options' link which can be found under the add to cart button on each product page.
Yes, you can use a gift card and on the Longsands website. On the checkout page in the space you would usually enter a promo code, you can enter your 16-digit gift card voucher number to add towards the total balance. If the item you are purchasing is less than the amount you have on your gift card, the remaining value will be stored on the card which can then be used to make another purchase at a later date. You can also use your gift cards in Longsands Physical Stores
Our Longsands gift cards are vaild for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

We extend our returns period for the holidays to make things a little easier for you. Any items bought between 15th November and 31st December can be returned up until 31st January. If any items are bought prior to the 1st January, our usual policy of 30 days applies.

If we have the product in store that you wish to exchange your item for, then we can easily process this for you in store. If you have ordered online and can’t make it to one of our stores, you will need to return the item(s) using our returns form. Please contact us via email for a returns form. Your return will be refunded or exchanged once it has been received and processed at our warehouse minus the cost of shipping.  You are responsible for any shipping costs for returning your item/s

As soon as we receive your returned product(s) we will notify you via e-mail. If you are sending the goods back to us we advise you get a proof of postage from the post office as Longsands cannot be held responsible for parcels that go missing in the post.

Product information & product care.

We recommend washing our t-shirts at 30 degrees and hang drying them. Our tees are screen printed to allow a certain amount of cracking over time. We feel a bit or wear and tear adds character and uniqueness to each garment. It is recommended that you don’t iron directly onto the the print on the garment. Instead, turn the t-shirt inside out and iron it on the inside.

Our hoodies have undergone a special dye process which results in colour variation and adds to the uniqueness of the garment. The colour in our hoodies will fade into a softer shade with washing and wear. The dye may run in the first couple of washes so please wash alone, inside out and at 30 degrees or cooler. The best way to dry our hoodies and keep them feeling super soft is to hang dry.

Our padded jackets are water resistant. Owing to this, its best to wash them with a technical washing liquid. Washing them with a specialised cleaner helps to maintain the water resistant properties in the garment. We recommend nikwax txdirect, 3 in 1 wash. https://www.nikwax.com/en-gb/products/productdetail.php?Productid=3 Once your coat is washed, we recommend drying on a low heat in the tumble dryer. For best results, add a couple of tennis balls to the dryer, this ensures all the padding is equally distributed in the panels of the garment.

Our blank products come in from overseas, mainly China, indonesia and Europe. All of the design work for the products is done by us and the printing, finishing, tagging and labelling is processed locally in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We try to keep as much of the process as is currently financially viable in the UK.

Yes, all our payments are processed through shopify's in-house software. Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This compliance extends to all online stores powered by Shopify. We accept all major VISA UK credit/debit Cards. American Express, apple pay, google pay, maestro, and mastercard via the website. We also accept cash in-store. For special orders to be delivered overseas we can also manually create an order for you and bill via paypal invoice.
