There’s plenty of live music and other events on at multiple venues across North Shields this month. Here’s some that caught our eye:

The Exchange

Just Beatles - Sunday 7th

Scotland’s #1 Beatles Tribute act brings their critically acclaimed show to The Exchange. There’ll be songs from the days at the Cavern all the way through to Abbey Road.

The History of Soul - Saturday 20th

A night full of the greatest soul hits by a live nine-piece band. Think songs from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, and The Temptations.

Salt Market Social

Quayrrang - Friday 5th

Relive your pop-punk days with a night of music from the likes of Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and All Time Low. There’s also live music from cover band Middle Aged Dirtbags. Dress code: RAWR XD

The Engine Room

Everywhere at Once - APARIMITA - Saturday 27th

Day-long music festival in collaboration with the National Lottery. It’s highlighting local artists and grassroots venues all across the country. This time, the festival is highlighting ageism in the music industry, with a portion of ticket sales going to charity Help Musicians.

Baba Yagas

Lhamo Grace - Thursday 25th

An intimate set from folk singer-songwriter Lhamo Grace. Her writing has been compared to the likes of Billy Connolly and Bjork. Expect songs which range from deeply moving to the absurd and hilarious.

Apres Quiz Nights

Thursday 4th June & Thursday 18th June
