Wine of the Month – Sargaco Vinho Verde Rosé
Share
This month’s pick is a proper easy drinker — fresh, light, and made for sitting outside when the sun finally shows up.
About the Wine
Sargaco Vinho Verde Rosé comes from the Vinho Verde region in north-west Portugal, where the Atlantic climate helps produce wines that are crisp, refreshing and full of character.
Made predominantly from the Espadeiro grape, this rosé has a clean, bright colour and a really fresh profile.
Tasting Notes
- Raspberry and wild strawberry notes
- Light, crisp acidity
- Subtle sweetness balanced with mineral tones
It’s the kind of wine that works just as well in the sun as it does with food — easy to drink, but still interesting.
Where to Find It
Currently pouring at Chalet 86.
If you’re after something lighter than your usual, this is worth a go.
