Cocktail - Basil Grande

EQUIPMENT
- Shaker
- Martini Glass
- Strainer
- Sieve
INGREDIENTS
- 25ml Vodka
- 25ml Grande Marnier
- 25ml Chambord Rasberry
- 75ml Cranberry Juice
- 4 whole strawberries
- 5 large basil leaves
GARNISH
- a small basil leaf
- ground black pepper
METHOD
- Chill a martini glass with some ice water.
- add the strawberries and basil to a shaker and muddle/mash the strawberries
- Add the remaining ingredients to the shaker with a scoop ice
- Shake for 8-10 seconds.
- Empty the ice water from the martini glass and DOUBLE STRAIN the cocktail mixture into the glass. WARNING: if you don’t double strain this cocktail will be a complete mess and you’ll need to start again!
- You may have to use a spoon to help push the liquid through the sieve.
- Finish by grinding a good amount of black pepper and floating a single small basil leaf on top.
