Cocktails - Corn 'n' Oil

INGREDIENTS

  • 25ml John D. Taylors Velvet Falernum
  • 50ml Cockspur Rum
  • Qtr Lime 
  • 10 dashes of Angostura Bitters

GARNISH

  • Slice of Lime

METHOD

  1. Add the Falernum and quarter wedge of lime to a curved tumbler
  2. Mash/press the lime wedge to release the juice and muddle the mixture. Leave the lime wedge in the glass.
  3. Add the rum and half fill the glass with ice
  4. Stir the mixture and ice for at least 40 seconds
  5. Ice a couple more cubes of fresh ice
  6. Add 10 dashes of angostura bitters so they float on top
  7. Garnish with a slice of lime on the rim of the glass
